KEP at the workshop on terminal dues for PostEurop and RCC members in Jurmala (Latvia)

In close cooperation with the UPU, a workshop dedicated to the terminal dues was organized on 26-27 August 2014 for PostEurop and RCC countries. The event took place in Jurmala, Latvia. 34 participants engaged in the workshop, including the KEP representatives.
The main topic of the workshop was move from current UPU transition system for terminal dues and quality of service to the target system based on the application of a rate per kilogram and a rate per item with adjustment according to the quality of service performance.
Latvijas Pasts which excellently organized this event, has presented the information about its experience on voluntarily moving to the target system.
All participants expressed their satisfaction by the workshop results. A follow-up workshop focused on practical exercises was planned to take place in Tbilisi, Georgia on 24 March 2015.
